HUNT BIG TEXAS DEER

HUNT BIG TEXAS DEER

OUR STORY

3 generations of Geistweidts Family Ranch ChristmasWhite Ghost Ranch is a family-owned working ranch deeply rooted in the heritage of the Texas Hill Country. Located near Doss, Texas, the ranch has been in our family since the mid-1800s, with generations caring for the same land we are privileged to call home today.  It is a place where our family’s past is still very much a part of everyday ranch life.

For more than 30 years, Brent and his family have worked to improve and preserve the ranch while building a strong wildlife management program. Through carefully selected genetics, quality nutrition, habitat management, and responsible stewardship, White Ghost Ranch has become known for producing exceptional, big-framed typical Texas whitetails.

That same commitment to quality and genetics extends to our registered Brangus cattle operation. We are continually working to build an elite Brangus herd through carefully selected genetics and progressive breeding practices, with an emphasis on producing cattle that combine performance, quality, and the traits that make the Brangus breed so well suited to Texas ranching.

While the ranch has grown and changed through the generations, our values have remained much the same: take care of the land, take care of the animals, work hard, and leave the ranch better for the next generation.

Guests who come to White Ghost Ranch for a trophy whitetail hunt experience much more than a hunt. We offer private, personal hunts for first-time and experienced hunters alike, including hunters with special needs. Our goal is to provide an authentic Texas ranch experience—one that includes great hunting, good food, genuine hospitality, and time spent enjoying a place our family is proud to share.

White Ghost Ranch isn’t simply a hunting ranch or cattle operation. It is our home, our family’s heritage, and a continuing piece of Texas ranching history.

We are proud of where we came from, proud of what we are building today, and committed to preserving it for generations yet to come.
